Monday, April 25th, Day 3
- PD/Admin Day – no classes (muffins, fruit, and juice will be available at 8:30am before sessions begin – Lunch at Branigan’s)

Tuesday, April 26th, Day 4
- Reading Club Luncheon for grade 5-8
- Learn Inspiration with Kathy M. in the computer lab at 3:50pm
- Gr. 7 & 8 School Planning Meetings (am)

Wednesday, April 27th, Day 5

- Volunteer Tea Planning Committee meeting at noon in the library

Friday, April 29th, Day 1

- Grade 4 Crossing Guard Training from 9:45-10:30 am in the Library

- Gr. 1-4 FI Assembly at 2:00pm

Just a reminder that there are still five more spots available for the following workshop on May 5th – 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the division office:
Making Videos ala Ken Burns
This session will present strategies for making documentaries in the style of Ken Burns, the maker of PBS programs such as “The Civil War, “Baseball”, and “Jazz”. The in-service will show how students can integrate still photography, videos, sound effects and voice over to produce project video clips for various subject areas. Microsoft Movie Maker 2 will be used during the workshop but the ideas covered can apply to any movie editing software such as Pinnacle or iMovie. Importing video from various sources such as that captured from video cameras or digital still cameras will be covered.
