Wanting to build up your class library? Be sure to mark your calendars for the Warehouse Sale put on by Scholastic May 11 - 13. The prices are amazing! See Tanus for information.

Too many "boys do not like to read, are choosing not to read, and are suffering academically as a result." (Brozo, 2002) If you are concerned about the male readers in your class you are invited to a lunch hour P.D. session which will be held on Thursday, May 12 at 12 noon in the library/resource area. Lunch could be ordered in for those that are interested. Please indicate in the comment section of the blog or e-mail Tanus if you plan to attend and whether you prefer pitas or pizza. Prices and choices will be provided later.
