Staffing Announcement - Alex Bertrand

We are pleased to announce that Alex Bertrand will join VW as a grade 4 FI classroom teacher for the 2005-2006 school year (We will have 2 grade 4 fi's next year). Please welcome him to our team. A short bio courtesy of Alex follows:

I graduated from high school at Precieux-Sang in 1991. Worked for Via Rail Canada travelling from coast to coast for 8 years while completing my B.A. in 1997 and my B.E. in 2002 from U. of M. Worked on the JET programme in Japan for one year (2002-2003) at a High School in Central Japan. Worked at Ecole Crane since Jan 2004 to now in grades 3 and 4.

Married, expecting our first baby this June and will be building our home in the country starting this summer, hopefully. Current hobbies include learning about babies, fatherhood and building your own home! Previously, it was camping, canoeing, hiking, cycling, jogging and fishing. I hope to get back to those in a few years!!
