Update for Monday, September 19th, Day 4

EY/MY Admin Council Meeting (B&B - am);
LW/WR Admin Meeting (B & B - following meeting above) ;
Gr. 7 & 8 Cross Country meet at LaBarriere Park (pm);
Novice Debating Workshop at SJR (28 students from Grade 6-8 will be attending) - evening;
Gr. 5 Patrol Training Session at 2:35pm (in the Library);

To all Homeroom Teachers:
In the course of the school year, many advertisements and flyers advertising local sports and community events are given to the school. Last year a policy was put in place that stated that all for-profit advertisements would be placed in the clear hanging folders by the front door so that whoever is interested could pick up their copy. Non-profit advertisements such as Brownies, Guides, Scouts etc. will be distributed to classes.

Right now there are several opportunities posted in the front hallway that may be of interest to your students. As of today they are:
* Skate Winnipeg Programs
* Winnipeg Minor Basketball Registrations (registrations being held this weekend)
* Ringette Programs
* Linden Woods Fall Classic 2005 registrations
* Manitoba Registered Music Teachers’ Association music lesson options

Be sure to inform your class about these opportunities and if they wish, they can pick up a copy of the advertisement in the front hallway. Also inform your students to check this location on a regular basis for upcoming events. Thanks very much!
